Care & cleaning
Wash regularly using a coloured sink cleaner with a Scotchbrite pad or nylon nail brush. Clean strong staining liquids (dyes, vegetable juices) immediately. For limescale in hard-water areas, remove with diluted white vinegar or a proprietary cleaner. For stubborn organic stains, biological washing powder works well.
Avoid: Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, wire wool, plastic washing-up bowls (they shed particles that grind the surface), and strong alkalis like ammonia, caustic soda or paint stripper. Never use neat bleach — diluted is fine but rinse thoroughly. Always use a chopping board; hard knife strikes can chip the surface.
